The South Asian Youth X-Change centralises a better future to its efforts. However, this future is one that is shared. Hence, SAY-X aims to unite the brightest individuals in the South Asian youth to initiate the movement towards this tomorrow. Through an extremely extensive network, SAY-X collaborates with Over 45 schools across India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal & the Maldives to consolidate a cohort of close to 150 student-advocates hand-picked through a highly selective two-tier selection process leading to an able body of advocates.

As a multilateral conference, SAY-X prioritises the need for cohesive, substantive, and useful discussion. Likewise, the cohort of advocates from 8 nations, are divided into Focus Councils—forums for focussed discussion on essential topics: The Future of Education & Vocation, The Future of Healthcare, The Future of SAARC Emergence, The Future of Technology, The Future of Environmental Sustainability, & The Future of Civil Freedoms & Liberties. These Focus Councils will act as forums for focused, productive and open-minded discussion, serving SAY-X's purpose.

As an organisation, SAY-X strongly stands behind actioning discussion. In an age of social media activism and raging person-to-person debates, discussion often leads to nothing. And that is what SAY-X aims to challenge. Synthesising all discussion, suggestive proposals & innovative ideas, SAY-X will be releasing The SAY-X Proclamation. A formal document resulting from clause-to-clause small scale legislation amongst SAY-X advocates, The SAY-X Proclamation is intended to contain 6 sections corresponding to 6 topical areas of discussion. Once formally authorised, the Proclamation will then be sent to the SAARC HQ, Foreign Affairs Ministries of the 8 nations, and released for public access.
